From the beginning, Kelly’s work ethic has been to listen carefully to her clients’ desires, gain a thorough understanding of how they live, establish a sense of their personal style, and couple it with her artful eye for design. Along with that comes exceptional communication and follow through that makes working with Kelly a delightful experience.

Collaboration

Each client has unique preferences with respect to how they want to work with a designer. Kelly’s approach is flexible in that she will be involved in your project as much or as little as you like. In addition, you as the client can enjoy whatever level of participation you choose. Some folks like to be involved every step of the way while others have little time to spend on home decorating. It’s all up to you!

Before your first appointment, Kelly will ask a few questions to determine the scope of your project. If it’s something as simple as an in home consultation, she will come to the first meeting prepared to advise you and give you recommendations on the spot. If it’s a larger project, she’ll spend time at the first meeting asking questions to better understand your goals, style, timeline, and budget.

At the end of the initial meeting, together we will come up with an action plan for next steps to accomplish your objectives with your budget in mind. Kelly will work with you throughout the process to decide on materials, finishes, and all of the details that result in a high end design aesthetic. Priding herself on superior service, she will consult with your contractor to keep the project moving ahead. Background

Although Kelly’s formal education consists of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a Master’s degree in Business Administration, her true gift is making homes beautiful as well as functional. After many years of working in the business world, Kelly decided to pursue her natural talent and enrolled in the Illinois Institute of Art where she received a certificate in Residential Interior Décor. Upon completing the curriculum in 2008, Kelly started her residential interior design business. Since then, she has enjoyed a steady flow of clients, many of whom collaborate with her on one project and excitedly move on to the next.
